Kwando Reserve

Like the Okavango, the Kwando River flows down from the wet Angola highlands then meanders through the wilderness below. This breathtaking reserve known as the Kwando Reserve encompasses 2300 sqkm and has more than 80km of river frontage. Stretching from the banks of the Kwando River, through massive open plains and mopane forests, to the notorious Okavango Delta, the Kwando Reserve boasts exquisite game viewing, as clued from the thousands of criss-crossing game trails seen from the flight into the reserve.

Witness the numerous elephants, crowds of buffalo, zebras, antelope, wild dogs, lions and wildebeests in the guidance of your personal ranger, well experienced in the art of game viewing with training from South Africa’s Londolozi and Phinda Camps. With only four vehicles, visitors revel in the fact that they are practically the only witnesses of some of the most dramatic game experiences in the area.
