Botswana's Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park

A region epitomized by the great river that supports its impressive concentration of wildlife, Northeastern Botswana is synonymous with the mammoth Chobe River that caresses it. Its most notorious highlight remains the sprawling Chobe National Park, where 11000sqkm of stunning scenery and captivating wildlife await.

One seems to never tire of the inspiring wildlife that resides within the park, including the Big Five as well as other African essentials. Divided into four distinct regions, the Chobe National Park encompasses the Chobe Riverfront, Nogatsaa/Tchinga, Savuti and Linyanti. Each boasts their own unique array of highlights. Witness the imposing predators at home in their Savuti landscape, or wander the marshes and lagoons of Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. And, while Chobe National Park remains the leader on most visitor’s lists of highlights, do not forgo the other delights that lie just outside the park.
