This is a small and luxurious camp for those who want the extra touch of comfort, consisting of ten luxurious tents hidden under the trees, deep in the forest, lining the banks of a winding river. The Governor’s IL Moran Camp has been purposely kept small with added touches that make it the top of the range safari. Each of the spacious tents has its own private location and is furnished to a superior standard. The stunning beds are handmade from specially selected wood taken from ancient olive trees. Large en-suite bathrooms have flush toilets, a lovely big shower with piping-hot water and a Victorian bath where you can soap the day’s dust away.
Every tent has an extended veranda looking out onto the plains. During the day meals are served under giant trees whilst at night dinner is by candlelight or, if you prefer, on the privacy of your own veranda. There’s a variety of fresh fruits, cereals and hot-baked breads together with a cooked breakfast barbecued before your eyes. For lunch a buffet that’ll satisfy the hungriest appetites. Complimentary wine is served with dinner. Deep in the bush, our cordon-bleu dinners by candlelight are a truly unforgettable Kenya Safari experience. Bush breakfast, lunch & dinner can be organized on request at a supplementary cost.
