The Sarova Lion Hill Lodge is located in the heart of the Great African Rift Valley, on the shores of Lake Nakuru, one of East Africa's most famous soda lakes. The lodge setting, overlooking the lake, offers a unique vantage point. Lake Nakuru is also a sanctuary to the greatly endangered Black Rhino, Colobus monkeys keep you busy with their mind games, and the park is home to plenty of other game including Zebras and waterbucks. Nowhere else will you get a photo of a rhino backed by a mirage of soft pink flamingos sifting food from the shimmering soda lake. It's a spectacle to behold!
Sarova Lion Hill Lodge is 160kms from Nairobi approximately a two hours drive or 30 minutes by air followed by a 30 minute transfer to lodge. There are 64 superbly appointed chalets has a separate lounge and secluded veranda with views over the lake and the distant hills. They offer a private toilet and shower, mosquito nets and electricity. All bedrooms have verandas with panoramic views of the flamingo pink-rimmed lake.
