The Aberdares
Presided over by the majestic peaks of Mt. Kenya in the background, the Aberdares boast a wealth of scenic vistas all their own. A landscape marked by rolling moors, deep valleys and bubbling brooks, the Aberdares hosts a rich array of sights for the intrepid traveler.
Wander through the surrealistic forest of giant lobelia and yellow flowered groudsel, or head strait for the 590 sqkm of misty highlands known as the Aberdare National Park, where cascading falls create the stage for black rhinos, giant forest hogs and the ever elusive bongo.
