Set up just off the shores of Nosy Komba, Jardin Vanille is an idyllic little hotel which boasts some fantastic views out over the sea and Nosy Be in the distance. Walking up a flight of steps from the beach shoes are abandoned on arrival at the hotel. Wooden walkways lead guests through the rocks, flowers, and lush vegetation of the hill across which the rooms are scattered.
The nine cosy chalets set against the green hills, all have a small terrace from where you can settle down with a book in the deck chairs and enjoy the view. The rooms have simple furnishings and do lack air-conditioning or fans but being nestled into the hills and shaded by giant palms and vanilla trees temperatures are not as hot as they could be. The hotel also has one suite which has been built in the perfect spot over looking the turquoise waters and small beach. An airy bedroom with mosquito net and a colourful sitting room both open out onto a large deck where sun loungers and deck chairs are positioned for a day of relaxation.
