Namibia's Northwest
Brandberg Massif
Its name, meaning “Mountain of Fire,” rings true every evening as the Namibian sun ignites the vibrant glow of this massive plateau. With its Königstein peak rising 2573m above the surface, this towering pinnacle is the tallest in Namibia.
It is amidst these mountains that one finds the Tsisab Ravine, and its wonderful gallery of rock art. Here find the renown White Lady of Brandberg; neither white nor a lady, but still a poignant recording of the first European colonies.
