There is one exclusive lodge on the island and the focus is on ‘bare foot luxury’ and conservation of the island’s flora and fauna. Flanked on one side by a sandy beach, the island is also an favorite location for nesting turtles. The lodge protects and monitors these and guests are encouraged to participate.
There are four luxury villas on Cousine Island. Each villa is built in French colonial style with intricately carved eves, wide balustraded verandas and cool spacious interiors. There are king-sized beds with sweeping nets, polished tiled floors, chaise longues and sunken corner baths in marble bathrooms. The main pavilion houses a dining room, bar and library and there is a pool outside.
