The Maia Resort is a luxury selection of beautiful villas overlooking the bay of Anse Louis on Mahe. The beach is as nature intended, secluded and quiet yet offering the opportunity for swimming and snorkelling.
The resort is small and exclusive with 30 villas of four different categories. There are eight ocean front villas, 11 ocean panoramic villas, three ocean villas and eight signature villas. Each villa is approx 250m2 and all have uninterrupted sea views. All villas have a private pool, air-conditioned bedrooms with king size beds, mini bars, flat screen televisions and DVD players. All are en suite. The spacious bedrooms have doors out onto a gazebo with an oversized day bed and beautiful views of the ocean. There is an inset double bath and sun deck area.
The main area at Maia houses a restaurant serving a variety of Creole, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, although guests may eat in their private villa. There is a beautiful large pool and a sunset pool bar.
There are a number of activities you can enjoy from Maia including complimentary non-motorised water sports such as snorkelling and kayaks. Boat cruises and game- fishing can be arranged for an extra cost. Finally, there is a boutique spa with three treatment rooms. In addition to relaxing treatments the spa offers free yoga and shiatsu classes.
