MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL MOMENT
In Venezuela, my family had a beach apartment in a beautiful coastal town called Lechería. We owned a small boat and would spend our days exploring the pristine beaches of Mochima National Park. One day, while out with my whole family and our dog, we watched ferries crossing to Margarita Island and massive oil tankers anchored in the bay. Suddenly, a pod of nearly one hundred dolphins surrounded our boat, leaping and swimming alongside us. They seemed to notice our dog, who barked excitedly back at them, and for a few magical moments we shared a rare connection between humans, animals, and the sea. It’s a memory that will stay with me forever.
